Cathy came to Hawaii from Ohio over 40 years ago
as a young military wife. She graduated from Ohio State University
with a Bachelor of Science degree and later received her Masters
degree in Public Health from the University of Hawaii Graduate School
of Public Health. A trained dental hygienist, Cathy worked with
the Oahu public school system and then for a private dental office.
She took time off from her 10-year professional career to spend
time raising her family of two sons and became very active with
volunteer activities in Honolulu. During that time, Cathy served
as President of the Honolulu Junior League, the American Association
of University Women and Children's Hospital Auxiliary. Cathy re-entered
the job market in 1978 as a real estate salesperson and became a
broker in 1980.
Founder and Principal Broker of Cathy George &
Associates, Inc., Cathy has now been a real estate salesperson in
Hawaii for over 30 years. After working for two of Honolulu's larger
real estate firms for a period of five years each, she established
her own company, Cathy George & Associates in 1988.
